About Dr. Jenny Foster
Dr. Foster's passion for dentistry is deep-rooted and spans decades. Not only has her father been a dentist for more than 50 years, but she started helping out in his practice at the young age of eight. The fact that she decided to follow in her father’s footsteps is no surprise.
She has also undergone quite a bit of dental work personally throughout her life. Because of this, she is an empathetic dentist who understands what it feels like to be sitting in the dental chair. Her patients find her extremely relatable—and that goes a long way in dealing with anxiety about visiting the dentist!
About Our Dental Practice
At Foster Family Dental, prevention and education are the very foundation of our practice. Because our primary focus is preventive care, Dr. Foster recommends our patients come in for dental exams twice each year. These appointments include checking the health of teeth and gums, identifying potential problems while they are still small, performing oral cancer exams, and taking x-rays as needed.
For most patients, basic preventive and restorative care is all that is needed to maintain a healthy, beautiful smile. But for those who are not happy with their smiles and would like to improve the appearance of their teeth, we offer cosmetic dentistry procedures such as veneers and crowns, bonding to fix chips and cracks, replacement of old dental fillings and restorations, and teeth whitening.
We also spend a fair amount of time going over oral hygiene instructions for the best home care possible. Good flossing and brushing habits are essential for maintaining optimum oral health.
Because our practice is small, Dr. Foster gets to know each of her patients on a personal level. Should you need to be referred for specialized treatment, she maintains close relationships with local specialists who can provide top-notch care so you know you are in good hands.
